Kayra
In 2005 Kayra envisioned and constructed Life Energy Connections as an organization designed to foster the consciousness revolution unfolding in our society today. Kayra recognizes that by tapping into our creative energy we open the door to our inner light and regain our passion for life. Tapping into our passion and soul story is essential for building a sustainable culture with a society that has respect and reverence for nature and divine energy.
Kayra is an artist, presentor, educator, and creativity coach available to serve you and your organization as a change consultant on your journey to enhance your relationships and achieve your dreams.
Kayra envisioned the role of a creativity coach as a consultant and healing guide generating energy towards health and wellness. She initiated this path following 2 years of experience as a creativity coach working with a business consulting division of a non-for-profit mental health facility. Kayra facilitated workshops, retreats, and graphically illustrated events and presentations.
Kayra is certified in working with the C.A.P. (Capabilities Awareness Profile), an assessment and development tool useful in identifying growth challenges, potentials, and assets with individuals, teams, and organizations. She is trained as a Spiral Wizard with completion of Spiral Dynamics Integral 1 and 2 certifications, revealing the intricate design of a social systems theory identifying a process for emergence.
Kayra interned at Kansas City Hospice in 1999, developing her expertise as a grief counselor and worked from 2000-2005 as a registered art therapist in a mental health facility. Here she studied and facilitated the transformative process of aligning creative energy with healing rituals to foster positive grief transformation, individual resilience, self-efficacy, self acceptance, and healthy emergence. Kayra is experienced at working with addictions, sexual health, team building, and emotional intelligence.
Kayra earned a Masters of Science in Art Therapy from Emporia State University in 1999 and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Kansas in 1995.
